Opening of Marin City college-prep center
By Scope staff
Bridge the Gap College Prep will be relocating its academic center from Sausalito to Marin City. Issued by the Marin Housing Authority, BTGCP won the lease of a facility in Golden Gate Village, Marin City’s central subsidized housing development.
The new center is looking for community and high school volunteers to assist students with academics.
Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one hour, one day each week. With the newly acquired space, BTGCP will need school supplies, furniture and fixtures.
Donations can be made by contacting Denni Brussueau, executive director, at 819-3028. For more info, e-mail volunteers@btgcollegeprep.org or visit btgcollegeprep.org.
