      Food and wine draws crowd

Throngs of foodies and oenophiles congregated in downtown Mill Valley on Sunday for the 28th annual Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting. Local restaurants, gourmet food makers and more than 70 varieties of wine were among the attractions du jour. Local celebrity chef Tyler Florence was on hand to cook up a new signature dish for the event - a grilled strawberry sandwich, featuring Petaluma brie and local berries. The happy gathering was organized by the Mill Valley Market and the Chamber of Commerce. Photo by Privette
