Once again, the town of Fairfax will come alive with bicycles and brews of all kinds on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the FairAnselm Plaza, 765 Center Blvd., in Fairfax.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and features a celebration of cycling and handcrafted beers from Northern California breweries, a bike expo, vintage bike show and live music. The celebration is being sponsored by the Marin County Bicycle Coalition and Access4Bikes.

The beer tasting costs between $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Proceeds benefit bicycle advocacy in Marin County. All other events are free to the public.
